Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering
History:
The center was established in 2007 to conduct nano-science related research between several departments of the University of Denver.
Goals:
Conduct state-of-the-art research in the area of nanoscience and nanoengineering.
Offer state-of-the-art undergraduate and graduate education in the above area.
Objectives:
• The Center will create a forum for major research interactions among researchers from several departments at DU.
• Will provide strong “moral support” for junior faculty
• Major capital equipment will be shared through the Center
• Our national research competitiveness will rapidly increase
• It will further enhance the national and international reputation of DU.
