Center for Orthopaedic Engineering

The recently formed Center for Orthopaedic Engineering applies engineering principles to investigate clinically relevant issues. Ongoing projects include the evaluation of joint mechanics in the knee, hip, shoulder and spine, musculoskeletal modeling, wearable sensor systems, modeling fluid-solid interactions.
